The Council For Military Spouse Clubs (the “Council”) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to educating, training, and providing resources to American military spouse clubs and their charitable nonprofits operating on military installations worldwide in order to preserve, perpetuate, and improve their governance and operations as nonprofit organizations.
The Council’s membership helps fellow military spouse clubs operate better, more efficiently, and more effectively than they are able to acting by themselves. We help military spouse club organizations take the administrative headache out of running a nonprofit.
Subject matter experts serve on the Board of Directors to lead member services such as best practices guides, legal information guides, governance & policy templates, and webinars on topics affecting military spouse clubs.
Military spouses can make a lasting impact on military spouse clubs worldwide by serving in Committee membership roles, supporting the Council's projects, and sharing ideas in the Council's network.
The Council will foster a collaborative community of military spouses inspired to learn, grow, and change military spouse club governance and operations to meet the challenges of the modern legal, operational, and compliance environment. Access to subject-matter focused committees, a private members only Facebook group and third party resources cultivated for members are just the beginning of benefits for members.

The Council evolved from a years-long effort to draft a legal information guide for military spouse clubs into a bigger goal of bringing together experienced nonprofit professionals in the milspouse community to provide education, training, networking and leadership opportunities focused on milspouse clubs.
